White Mountain National Forest

Useful Resources:
Perusing my father's old photo's I stumbled across some pictures of he and his brother backpacking. They looked like they were having a grand time in their tubes socks and tube framed packs. Apon inquiring my Dad told me stories of how they had summited Mt. Washington during various unplanned adventures. Sounded like fun to me as a child.

When I got older I never forgot those stories, and after I had a few trips in the Adirondacks and Vermont under my belt, I grabbed a couple of friends for an adventure of our own.

A few years later I became hooked on peakbagging. After flying through my first 20 Adirondacks I didn't want it to end. I decided to add the New Hampshire Peaks, as well as those 4000 footers in ME to extend my goal to 115 peaks. I am no longer in a rush, but savour every summit.
